Dispatch Health is looking for a Dispatch Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide education and clinical training as an APP Clinical Training Specialist and join our growing clinical education team within the Clinical Center of Excellence.
The APP Clinical Training Specialist teammate at Dispatch Health should be an experienced APP who is interested in professional growth. This position reports to the Director of Clinical Education and will collaborate with the entire educational team, Operations, and the Clinical Implementation teams. Time requirement: 40 hours a week (1 FTE, salaried position). Travel is required: up to 50% per year.

Clinical Education & Training:
- Serve as a primary trainer for new clinical employees during market launches, delivering critical onboarding and foundational training across diverse care delivery models (ERAC and HAC). Perform 1:1 car training in the field for new clinical team members.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of high-quality, standardized, and scalable remote instructor-led curricula and training materials for onboarding and continuous education initiatives
- Facilitate dynamic virtual and in-person classroom training for diverse groups of learners and provide integral support for strategic clinical advancement initiatives and special projects. Evaluate readiness for clinical practice.
- Perform skills observation and competency validation.
- Provide and possess a strong knowledge base and ability to perform and teach therapeutic interventions commonly associated with emergent and acute care settings.
- Develops, delivers, and evaluates training and educational resources related to Dispatch Health's clinical technology systems that support direct patient care delivery. Become an N95 employee Fit Tester through Dispatch Health
- Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to apply feedback to training style and to provide constructive feedback to trainees.
- Ability to follow a set curriculum and training plan developed by the education team and maintain consistency and standardization in process.
- Work cooperatively, positively, and collaboratively with interdisciplinary and cross functional teams.
Ability to identify and proactively solve problems.
- Dispatch Health Advanced Practice Provider experience, minimum of 2 years preferred
- Current unrestricted state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Nationally board certified (current)
- Current BLS certification, American Heart Association
- 2 years managerial or leadership experience preferred
- Proficiency with use of the Athena, Dashboard, and all Dispatch systems
- Recommendation and approval/reference from Lead APP and Regional Medical Director
