At Upstream Mental Health, we believe in the power of proactive mental health care guided by a multicultural‑feminist perspective. Our team of therapists takes a warm and collaborative approach combined with evidence‑based interventions to support college/graduate students, young professionals, and BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ populations. Our practice is committed to addressing the impact of sociopolitical systems of oppression on mental health and actively advocating for anti‑racism, intersectionality, and identity affirmation.
Together, we move upstream to identify and transform systemic and personal patterns, facilitating growth and more fulfilling lives for our clients.
This fellowship entails a full‑time, 12‑month position from August 2026 through August 2027. Fellows will be expected to work ~35 hours per week, which includes direct client care (25 completed sessions per week), documentation, supervision (2 hours per week) and trainings.
Ideal candidates will:- Have a doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA‑Accredited program
- Have residency in the state of Massachusetts, Connecticut, or New Hampshire
- Be comfortable with a fully remote position
- Complete 25 clinical sessions weekly (30 scheduled)
- Have experience or training in evidence‑based and multicultural approaches
- Total compensation of ~$71,000 per year
- Pay based on an hourly rate
- Pay for non‑clinical admin hours (including supervision and trainings) and late cancels
- W2 position
- Highly flexible scheduling that works best for you and your clients
