The Assistant Senior Director – DD Healthcare Home is an internal leadership opportunity for experienced nursing and care management leaders who are ready to expand their impact across regions. This role serves as a key member of the Development Disability Health Home Leadership Team, supporting strategic direction, operational excellence, and consistent nursing care management practices in partnership with Easterseals Midwest and Compass Health Network teams.
Remote position, open to Missouri residents with travel to various Compass locations quarterly and other meetings across the state. This program covers the whole state with all remote staff.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about advancing coordinated care for individuals with developmental disabilities and is ready to move from direct or regional leadership into a broader, system-level role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to Regional Nurse Directors, supporting professional growth and consistency across regions
- Strengthen onboarding, training, and competency processes for nursing leadership and care management staff
- Champion quality improvement, population health initiatives, and integrated care practices across DD Healthcare Home operations
- Review dashboards, reports, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and operational alignment
- Partner with Compass treatment teams, Easterseals Midwest, and Health Home leaders to support seamless care coordination
- Assist with staffing coordination, caseload coverage, and continuity of services during transitions
- Facilitate regular leadership meetings, team communication, and in-person engagement opportunities
- Maintain alignment with state Health Home guidance, program standards, and fidelity requirements
- Contribute to staff engagement initiatives, quality assurance activities, and special projects that support program growth
- Associate degree in nursing required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience required
- Experience in the developmental disability or behavioral health field preferred
- RN licensed in Missouri required
