Merrimack Autism Consultants is a privately owned organization founded in 2017 that offers individualized home-based services to clients on the autism spectrum. We are dedicated to providing family centered ABA services using evidenced‑based Applied Behavioral Analysis methods, interventions and assessments. Merrimack Autism Consultants is currently hiring part‑time experienced Behavior Therapists (BT) to provide 1:1 in‑home ABA services. In‑home sessions are typically held between 2:30 pm and 8:30 pm; some morning or weekend sessions may be available. Applicants must be available to work an average minimum of 10–19 hours per week. Rate of pay will commensurate based on level of education and years of experience.

• Work 1:1 directly with clients with autism using individualized ABA techniques created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide support and guidance for the parent/caregiver implementing the behavior plan tactics when the BT/BCBA are not in the home.
• Collect data focused on skills and behaviors, conduct discrete trials daily to ensure the client's progress is monitored and objectives are met according to the individualized plan.
• Communicate in a timely manner any concerns and progress to both the client's family and supervisor.
• Complete the 40‑hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training, sit for and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.

• Flexible schedules, desirable hours: mostly afternoon/early evening, occasional weekends/mornings.
• Significant on‑the‑paid job training, including hands‑on opportunities such as Safety Care Training & CPR.
• Opportunity to become a Registered Behavior Technician—a statewide recognized certification under the BACB (Board Analysis Certification Board).

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• 18 years old or older with reliable, consistent transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and authorized to work within the U.S.
• 6+ months of experience as a Behavioral Therapist or similar position.
• Commitment to serve clients for at least 6 months.
• Bilingual (Creole speaking) to support language needs.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children/adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities, driven to make a difference.
• CPR certified (timeline of 2 weeks after hire).

• Associate's Degree in Human Services, Education or Psychology;
  Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis or Social Psychology.
• Registered Behavior Technician with an active certification with the BACB and/or at least 6 months working with children with autism.
• Previous professional experience in human services, developmental disabilities, or education fields—teachers, paraprofessionals, day programs, group home caretakers.

Part‑time Position, Salary varies on experience.

Salary: $19 – $25 per hour.
