CDM Specialist Sr; Remote

• Coordinate ongoing Charge Description Master (CDM) consistency within revenue-producing departments
• Maintain accurate descriptions, coding, inactivations, and revenue code assignments
• Review denials from the Central Billing Office (CBO) related to payor rejections and incomplete reimbursements
• Conduct research on CDM and hospital billing issues using various information media
• Assist the Coding Manager with coding duties

• Minimum of 5 years in hospital billing and coding, with 3-5 years of charge master experience
• Epic Certification within 1 year of hire
• Bachelor's degree required
• Required certifications: COC or CPC

• Certifications such as HFMA CRCR, AAHAM, CRCS-I, CHFP, or CRCS-P
