Salary range: £35,412 to £44,075 per annum. Benefit allowance of £2,278 per annum. Out of hours scheme payment of £10,154.88 per annum. Total renumeration is up to £56,507.88 per annum.

ResponsibilitiesWe are ideally looking to recruit someone who is experienced and technically competent in all aspects of Environmental Health, and particularly in Environmental Protection. You will need to be an excellent communicator and happy to embrace a more generic approach to delivering services in our historic seaside town. This role follows a model where Environmental Health and Licensing are combined into a single generic Team to offer a more effective and flexible service for residents and businesses.
The successful candidate will play a central role in the delivery of the Environmental Health and Licensing Team s objectives and will have variety and opportunities to stretch capabilities.
A full driving licence is essential for this post and there is a car benefit allowance of £2,278. There is willingness to work outside of normal office hours from time to time. There is also the opportunity to participate in the emergency out of hours on call service, which attracts a standby payment of £10,154.88 per annum.
Experience & Qualifications- Experienced and technically competent in Environmental Health, particularly Environmental Protection.
- Excellent communicator.
- Willingness to embrace a generic delivery approach within Environmental Health and Licensing.
- Full driving licence (essential).
