What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Follow up directly with commercial, governmental, and other payers to resolve claim payment issues
  • Examine denied and non‑paid claims to determine reasons for discrepancies
  • Communicate with payers to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
  • Document all activities accurately in the client’s host system and/or appropriate tracking system
  • Demonstrate initiative by making recommendations and communicating trends to management
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to meet quality and productivity standards within established timelines
  • Must adhere to attendance policies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • 2 or 4‑year college degree
  • 1 or more years of relevant experience in medical collections, AR follow‑up, or professional billing
  • Knowledge of claims review and revenue cycle operations
  • Experience with the DDE Medicare system and payer websites
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance claim terminology
