What will you do as a Night Care Practitioner?- Provide personal care and assistance: helping residents with hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs during the night.
- Monitor and respond to needs: conduct regular checks, address any nighttime concerns, and support residents with dignity and respect.
- Encourage restful sleep: create a calm and comfortable environment while assisting with evening and early morning routines.
- Support emotional wellbeing: offer reassurance and companionship to residents who may feel unsettled during the night.
- Maintain high standards: ensure cleanliness and safety across the care home during your shift.
- Record and report: document observations and any incidents clearly for day staff handovers.
- Work collaboratively: collaborate with colleagues to provide seamless, high‑quality care.
- A compassionate and attentive nature: residents rely on your patience and kindness.
- Night owl energy: comfortable working through the night, ensuring residents are supported throughout.
- Adaptability and teamwork: thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Experience is welcome but not essential: full training is provided for those eager to learn and grow.
