• Conduct pre-service patient interviews via phone to complete the pre-registration process
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during the pre-registration process
• Educate patients about their estimated out-of-pocket financial responsibilities and collect liabilities
• Escalate high-dollar out-of-pocket accounts at risk for non-payment prior to services being rendered
• Resolve patient demographic and insurance discrepancies using various system tools

• Proficient in typing
• General knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing; bilingual is a plus
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High school graduate or equivalent; one year of previous scheduling experience in the medical field is preferred

• Experience in a scheduling role within the healthcare sector
• Bilingual skills to assist a diverse patient population
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and billing processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in a call center environment
