Position: Scheduler (FT remote-must live in Raleigh, NC metro area)
Description

This position is a full time, remote position primarily responsible for scheduling appointments and assisting with managing the provider templates. The individual who fills this role must live in the raleigh, nc metropolitan area.

Principal duties and responsibilities
* * answer and manage incoming calls to the appointment call queue

* schedule appointments, including but not limited to, new patient appointments, return appointments, and nurse visits.

* assist front office supervisor with managing provider templates (run rescheduling reports and contact patients)

* act as a liaison between neighborhealth and ministry/healthcare partners (refugee organizations, unc, wake med)

* run additional scheduling reports, contact patients, and complete necessary scheduling processes (recall, no show, cancellation)

Requirements

Required skills or abilities
* * computer literacy in internet use and windows environment, including outlook, word, and excel with keyboarding skills of at least 45 wpm.

* ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with co-workers and community members.

* ability to serve as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and backgrounds.

* proficient in epic

* clinical scheduling experience

* strong phone skills

* strong written/spoken communication skills.

* ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

Required knowledge, experience, or licensure/registration

1. High school diploma or its equivalent.

2. Experience in customer service, office work, or a clinical setting.

3. Ability to work remotely via a home office set up with access to secure internet connection; m-f, 8am-5pm.

4. Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend english fluently.

5. Ability to travel to the clinic on occasion.

6. Vaccines as required.

Preferred knowledge, experience, or licensure/registration

Fluent in any of the following languages: spanish, arabic, dari, farsi, or swahili

Please note:

this is a full-time remote position. Employee must live in the raleigh, nc metropolitan area in order to commute to the clinic for intial training and on occasion thereafter.
