Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Behavioral Health Technician, based in Rock Hill, SC, with opportunities for some work-from-home flexibility. The Behavioral Health Technician will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to implement behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities include conducting ABA therapy sessions, collecting and documenting data, monitoring progress, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure the highest quality of care.
The role may involve communication with families and caregivers to support skill generalization outside of therapy sessions.
- Strong knowledge of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Experience in Behavioral Intervention and familiarity with Psychology principles
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associates or bachelor s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (preferred)
- Willingness to complete necessary training and certification programs, such as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
