Responsibilities
  • Coordinate our services as a Habilitative Specialist/Case Manager and ensure programs are delivered in compliance with applicable rules and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate and train staff in behavior modification techniques and provide tools to support daily performance.
  • Develop new programs and strategies to help individuals learn, grow, and achieve personal goals.
  • Maintain records and document success stories of the people served.
  • Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective service delivery.

Schedule
:
Days - Hybrid (after training); hourly with some evenings and weekends may be required. Some travel in the following areas (Clarion, Forest City, Webster City, Fort Dodge) with an agency vehicle provided. Office/Training location:
Forest City or Clarion.

Requirements

Must-Haves (Required Experience and Education)

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related Human Services field OR 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Experience: At least one (1) year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Ability to ensure program delivery is in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills)

  • Setting

    Experience:

    Previous experience in a Home and Community Based Waiver (HCBS) setting is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
