Environmental, Health, and Safety; EHS Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the data center and industrial sectors, is seeking a dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Lead to join their team. As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Lead, you will be part of the EHS Department supporting operational excellence and safety culture initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, proactive communication, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Lead
Location: 100% Remote
Contract Length: 12 Months

Pay Range: $55.00 per hour

• Drive incident and illness prevention across assigned datacenter sites through high-risk activity management and emergency response planning.
• Lead the implementation of safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal, client, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Develop, communicate, and enforce site-specific safety plans and conduct regular inspections and audits.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development to improve safety outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, contractors, and external safety organizations to foster a safety-first culture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of progressive EHS experience in datacenter, construction, or industrial environments.
• Experience supporting EHS programs in mission-critical environments.
• Ability to meet client, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools.
