Overview
The Program Manager, Community Health Program Evaluation will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive evaluation framework to measure the effectiveness and impact of current and future community health programs. This role will design and lead evaluation activities that inform decision-making, improve program performance, and demonstrate alignment with the hospital's Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), community benefit requirements, and broader community health goals.
Responsibilities include establishing data collection methods, metrics, and outcomes; managing data and evaluation projects; engaging internal and external stakeholders (hospital departments, community partners, grant funders); and translating findings into actionable insights that strengthen program design, scaling, and sustainability. Additionally, this position will serve as an institutional resource for community health evaluation by building capacity for data-informed learning, ensuring consistent use of evaluation methods and tools, and advancing the hospital's role in promoting community health and well-being.

- Build organizational capacity for evaluation and continuous learning
- Master’s Degree in Evaluation, Public Health, Public Administration, Epidemiology, Urban Planning, Statistics, Psychology, Business or Health Administration, Research Methods, or related field, with 3-5 years of healthcare, public health, program evaluation, or related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Evaluation, Public Health, Public Administration, Epidemiology, Urban Planning, Statistics, Psychology, Business or Health Administration, Research Methods, or related field, with 5-7 years of healthcare, public health, program evaluation, or related experience

Starting PayThe pay range for this job begins at $29.54/hr, but offers are determined based on education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from HomeThis is an intermittent remote position. The schedule will be determined with the manager and will include both at-home and on-site hours in the Kansas City metro area.
