The Clinical Manager, CM Home Care, in collaboration with, and under the direction of the Director of Home Care, is accountable and responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day clinical operations and activities of the nurses, therapists, and other assigned clinical and ancillary staff; including personnel performance review evaluations, scheduling/staffing, staff competencies and professional development, fiscal accountability and supporting the Director of Home Care in the development of programs and services.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for the home health regulatory requirements of Joint Commission, CMS Conditions of Participation (CoPs), Missouri and Kansas state home health licensing law, and discipline specific state practice acts for the clinical and/or ancillary staff.
- Collaborates with the Director of Home Care in policy formulation and programmatic development and implementation including the delivery of safe patient clinical services and assessing adequate and appropriate staffing.
- Manages the implementation of activities for the Intake, Referral, Outreach, and Clinical Nurse Liaison functions and oversees the development of standards and methods to measure hospital and community referrals.
- Participates and collaborates with the Director of Home Care and other CMHC Management staff to provide oversight with compliance of TJC, CMS Conditions of Participation (CoPs), Missouri and Kansas state home health licensing law, and discipline specific state practice acts for the clinical and/or ancillary staff.
- Represents Children's Mercy Home Care in management and leadership functions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and
- 5-7 years experience
- Experience in pediatric nursing, nurse case management (NCM), discharge planning, public or community health nursing and
- At least one year of supervisory experience in health care related services.
- One of the following:
Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire - One of the following:
Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire - RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
- Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provide Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire

Pay and Work ArrangementsStarting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $42.54/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from HomeThis position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
