The Healthcare Industry Architect will be knowledgeable about top healthcare industry use cases and cybersecurity trends, and how these use cases impact Palo Alto Healthcare Architecture Offerings in next-generation security, cloud, and Sec Ops transformation. The architect should be well-versed in the key industry use cases and the full Palo Alto Networks portfolio. The role is a strategic technology advisor to drive adoption and sales for Palo Alto’s most strategic healthcare provider clients.
The healthcare architect will create content, collateral, and architectural diagrams linking important use cases to Palo Alto platforms and solutions. The architect should be comfortable presenting, evangelizing, and driving partnerships with C-level audiences and practitioners, and enabling sellers, partners, and account teams on the healthcare message and Palo Alto technology solution areas.
Drive and create a Healthcare Industry Point of View and Architecture based on Palo Alto Networks Solution and Platform Areas
Drive a solution sales mindset translating healthcare use cases to Palo Alto Network Solutions and Offerings
Collaborate with sales leadership to drive a consultative sales culture with major healthcare providers in North America
Be accountable with sales leaders to drive bookings and pipeline to grow the healthcare business in North America
Develop and contribute to a healthcare industry point of view tied to Palo Alto offerings for current and future healthcare use cases
Coach and enable the healthcare team using standard methodologies and playbooks for the healthcare vertical
Help present, speak, and drive thought leadership at industry events and consortia (e.g., HIMSS, Healthcare ISAC, Council Meetings)
Have a deep understanding of current market share and industry trends to develop and enhance the Palo Alto Networks healthcare point of view
Speak to a C-level audience and healthcare practitioners on why Palo Alto Healthcare cybersecurity approaches drive transformation for healthcare organizations
Align strategies and plans to drive region, product, and modality market share growth by working with Palo Alto Solution and Domain Consultants
Collaborate with Business Units and Marketing to drive adoption and growth for national, regional, and key healthcare organizations
Engage with C-level customers to explore, build and prioritize opportunities while identifying missed opportunities
Build and instill harmony between all connecting teams including sales, marketing, account teams, and partners
Represent the business view cross-functionally and differentiate solution requirements globally
Location:
You may live anywhere within the western part of the US. This role will be fully remote.Minimum 10-15 years of progressive responsibility in healthcare sales and/or cybersecurity selling
Knowledge of Palo Alto Solution and Offerings and Differentiated Value Proposition
Strong architectural sales background with knowledge of the Palo Alto Products and Offerings, developing architectural roadmaps, and tying the Palo Alto set of products and offerings to healthcare use cases
In-depth healthcare industry experience and knowledge with a proven ability to provide an industry point of view and align resources with customer needs
Bachelor of Science or Business. MBA strongly preferred
Possess the ability to handle analytical corporate initiatives
Effective communication skills, business maturity, and good judgment
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and manage several projects
Strong work ethic and ownership of company and client goals/objectives
