Job Title: Health Coordinator

Location: New Mexico

Job Type: Contract

Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9-5, remote

Pay Range: $20 Per hour

About the Role

Position Summary

  • As a Health Coordinator
    , you will be responsible for contacting healthcare providers to educate them on our medical management programs, supporting clinicians with member and provider activities, researching inquiries, performing data entry, and ensuring excellent service for both providers and members.
  • You’ll be an important link between our clinical teams, providers, and our members—helping ensure that care is coordinated accurately, efficiently, and compassionately.
Key Responsibilities
  • Contact providers to share information and educate them about medical management programs
  • Support clinicians with provider and member outreach
  • Conduct research related to member needs, provider inquiries, and clinical activities
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry
  • Respond to inquiries from members and providers
  • Assist in coordinating member needs and identifying solutions
  • Prepare written correspondence and internal communication as needed
Required Qualifications
  • 1 year of college and 2 years of experience using automated systems OR 3 years of experience with automated systems
  • 1 year of experience in a managed care environment
  • Experience coordinating member needs and providing member assistance
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of managed care claims systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer service, verbal communication, and written communication skills
  • Ability to write clear correspondence and provide coaching or education to members
Preferred Qualifications
  • College coursework in computer science or the medical field
  • Experience supporting clinical teams in a managed care setting
