What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Sell Interstim devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other medical staff
  • Partner with strategic implanting centers to enhance account and implanter practices
  • Provide product and therapy technical support and service, including consultation on strategic management
  • Utilize Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans for territory growth
  • Coordinate support activities and develop sales partnerships with distribution alliances
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
  • Strong understanding of the reimbursement climate and experience in calling on physicians in related referral accounts
  • Proven skills in business planning/consulting and territory financial analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in developing new, innovative markets and making multiple referral calls daily
  • Familiarity with operating rooms and experience with implantable devices
  • Understanding of quality policy/system items applicable to the role
  • Team-oriented with conceptual and consultative sales skills
  • Background in physiology/clinical therapies
