Description
Do you have prior experience working with insurance claims, denials, appeals and payer follow up questions? As a Patient Account Representative you will be working with claims including submission, follow-up and resolutions specifically in our therapy billing department. You will communicate with patients, insurance companies and staff to answer any questions related to insurance claims filed. After on-site training (up to 90 days) is complete and competency in DMOS process is established, this position works from home.
You have the ability to come into the office on short notice. This position is a full-time Monday thru Friday position. At this time, we can only accommodate remote workers within the state of Iowa.
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims.
- Resolve claim issues and respond to payer questions.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies and staff regarding insurance claims.
- Work from home after on-site training and DMOS process competency is established; may return to the office for meetings or training as needed.
- Maintain availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional office visits with short notice.

Note:
This position works from home after training is completed and competency in DMOS processes is established. Ability to return to the office for meetings or training when needed;
