Octave is hiring Licensed Clinicians to provide high quality behavioral health care to our clients. Clinicians will join a diverse clinical team to deliver therapy in a collaborative, client‑centered, evolving environment. Clinicians demonstrate strong clinical service thinking informed by evidence‑based therapies. The effort is to drive quality access and customize mental health treatment plans and service delivery for our clients. You will treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video, using short‑term, evidence‑based therapies.

Licensed clinicians must be licensed in New Jersey at the masters or doctoral level, well‑versed in evidence‑based therapies such as CBT or DBT, and expert in culturally responsive care. Clinicians work both in‑person and remotely. A commercial office space for in‑person clients is required; virtual work is done from your home office.

• Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMHC, PsyD)
• Current New Jersey license in good standing
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• At least 1 year post‑license clinical experience
• 1–2 years of experience in CBT, DBT, Unified Protocol, or trauma therapies preferred
• Preferred: own office space and willingness to provide in‑person services in the Jersey City area

• Provide evidence‑based short‑term therapy to adult clients experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns
• Conduct therapy via video or in‑person as appropriate
• Build and maintain strong therapeutic alliances
• Deliver culturally responsive and competent care
• Use standardized measures to inform feedback‑informed care
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors within the clinical team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements

• Prolonged sitting at a computer desk
• Ability to use Zoom, Google Meet, and electronic health record systems
• Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship

• Hourly rates vary by licensure and setting
  • In‑person: $73–$133/hr for master’s level license, $73–$143/hr for doctoral level license
  • Virtual: $70–$130/hr for master’s level license
