Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele in various settings, including schools, clinics, and home-based services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of speech and language abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to address speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients families, teachers, and other professionals to support progress and ensure continuity of care.
  • Document and track client progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech pathology.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid California State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and other relevant software.
