A company is looking for a Remote Psychologist Reviewer to conduct clinical reviews for outpatient behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities- Authorize, direct, and monitor care for behavioral health and substance abuse problems based on clinical information
- Conduct peer reviews with psychologists and behavioral health therapists for outpatient services and psychological testing requests
- Interact with network practitioners to educate on best practice models and utilization management processes
- Active, unrestricted Psychologist license (PhD or PsyD) in one or more specified states
- PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or related field required
- 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Health required
- Working knowledge of psychological tests, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based practices
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred for ABA Reviewers
