The Incentive Design Compensation Lead designs and implements short-term incentive compensation programs. The Incentive Design Compensation Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial independently. The Incentive Design Lead owns all incentive design for the Primary Care Organization including creation of at risk pay programs for clinicians, advanced practice providers, clinic-based associates, and leadership. The role includes business consultation on plan effectiveness, budgeting, modeling, governance, and feasibility.
The Incentive Design Lead will be responsible for incentive plan education and roll-out as well as quarterly performance summaries for all levels of leadership.
- Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
- Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and work under minimal supervision, use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 or more years of technical experience using Excel or SPM to calculate incentives
- 1 or more years of clinical incentive design experience
- Demonstrates outstanding executive-level presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Experience with Varicent SPM platform
- Physician Compensation experience

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. - Travel:
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
