Details & Responsibilities
- As a Radiology Ultrasound Tech, perform and optimize ultrasound examinations across a spectrum of patient needs, including radiology-guided assessments, abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging, depending on facility requirements.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position for optimal views, adjust equipment settings, and document findings with precision to support diagnostic interpretation.
- Ensure optimal image quality, adhere to safety protocols, maintain equipment, and contribute to QC processes and report accuracy.
- Pursue professional growth within ultrasound, including opportunities to master advanced modalities, participate in cross-disciplinary rounds, and engage in continuing education sponsored by the traveling program.
- Receive comprehensive support from a 24/7 travel team for scheduling, travel logistics, and on-site needs; compensation aligns with the weekly pay rate of $2,049-$2,174 and assignment structure that values workload and expertise, even when guaranteed hours are not set.
