** Job Summary
** The Billing Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of billing processes within the organization.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
* Review daily charges for completeness.
* Notify clinical staff of incomplete charges.
* Review all missing information reports and provide data.
* Prepare insurance authorization request packets and send them for review.
* Assist Texas Oncology billing and authorization departments with requests for information.
* Assist all outside labs, radiology, etc. with requests for billing information.
* All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
*** High School Diploma required.
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
* 3 years of billing experience required.
* Varian experience preferred.
* Clinical Research experience preferred.
