The Senior Account Executive, Self-Funded is responsible for Plan revenue growth by generating and implementing new group business in self-insured markets. The position is integral to the development and maintenance of key business relationships and is a highly visible face of the Plan in a complex and competitive marketplace. Serving in a consultative capacity, ensures Producer/Consultant training and productivity and facilitates cross-selling revenue enhancement to maximize Providence Health and Services penetration with Workplace Health Services opportunities.

Providence Health Plan welcomes residents to apply that live within a daily commutable distance (within 25-30 miles) of the following area.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow Plan revenue in self-insured markets.
- Build and maintain key relationships with employers, brokers, and consultants.
- Provide consultative training and support to Producers/Consultants; drive cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with Workplace Health Services to enhance penetration and revenue.
Travel/Location Details
- This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Portland, Oregon.
- Travel throughout an assigned territory on a weekly basis is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree or experience in all aspects of Health Plan commercial group benefits with a proven ability to self-motivate and problem-solve.
- 10 or more years of successful insurance industry sales, including both fully insured and self-insured experience.
- Driving may be necessary as part of this role. You must comply with all state laws and requirements for driving and provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling self-insured business, and complex benefit and financial structures.
- Current Health Insurance Producer License for either Washington State or Oregon.
