Overview:
Sentara is hiring a Medical Dosimetrist at the Sentara Brock Cancer Center in Norfolk, Virginia.
This position is ONSITE in Norfolk, Virginia. Relocation packages available!
Overview
Measures and calculates radiation dose and develops optimum arrangement of radiation fields and exposures to treat patient under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate for integrated and comprehensive care.
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. BLS, Registry eligible and certified within 2 years of hire
Education
- Associate's Degree in Medical Dosimetry or Radiology Technology REQUIRED
- ARRT Certification REQUIRED
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist Certification REQUIRED
- 5 years prior Dosimetrist experienced STRONGLY PREFERRED
- 5 years Radiation Therapy experience REQUIRED
