Overview
The Children’s Center is an early intervention and family support program for children birth through 21 years. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who love working to support children in a multi-disciplinary team environment. This clinical position provides clinical consultation for specialized services for children ages 3-5 and their families by providing direct family support through social work services and/or family therapy and center-based treatment programs.
The Children’s Center provides Behavioral Health Day Treatment services at three sites (Augusta, Farmington and Skowhegan) for children ages 3-5 in a center-based setting. The position could potentially work at multiple sites and/or provide outpatient services at our Augusta site. For the right candidate we could discuss what would be a best fit for the candidate and the agency needs.
Additionally, the Clinician will provide intensive therapy and support to children and families using a strengths-based outcome-oriented approach to include the following:
Develop therapeutic relationships with at-risk children and families;
Provide individual and family therapy using evidenced-based outcomes-oriented approaches;
Collaborate with other providers;
Complete mental health assessments and individual treatment plans;
Provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Health Professionals;
Participation in clinical reviews, team meetings and trainings.
This position offers flexibility with options for both in person and remote work.

- A Master’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, or psychology and Maine licensure required (LCPC, LMSW-cc, LCSW preferred).
- The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and have strong oral and written communication skills.
