We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health Safety Specialist for a full-time, hybrid role based in Louisina between Baton Rouge and the Greater New Orleans Region, with some flexibility for remote work.

This position involves proactively assessing workplace environments to identify potential health and safety risks, ensuring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, and delivering effective training programs.

Additional responsibilities include implementing safety protocols, monitoring workplace conditions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote occupational health and workplace safety.

• Strong grasp of Health & Safety principles and Occupational Health practices
• Expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and its regulatory requirements
• Knowledge and implementation of Workplace Safety standards and strategies
• Ability to design and lead effective Safety Training programs
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as OHST are a plus
