Certified Home Health Aide

We are looking for Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) with a valid New Jersey Home Health Aide license who are detail oriented and can follow protocols and rules regarding patient care. CHHAs must adhere to instructions from doctors and nurses and communicate changes in a patient’s health. They should be trustworthy and dependable so the patient and their family feel comfortable relying on them.

• Provide patient care under a nurse’s direction, including taking vital signs and administering medications as directed.
• Record and report health data as medically necessary.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing and bathing.
• Help plan for doctor’s appointments and other meetings; may organize transportation for patients.
• Perform facility work as an CHHA, including both hourly and live-in arrangements.
• Additional duties as assigned, including light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, laundry), meal preparation, grocery shopping, and communicating patient status to nurses.

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Certified Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide is required.
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated and boosted.
• 2-step PPD (tuberculosis test).
• Physical within the last 12 months.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile.

• Full-Time, Part-Time, Per-Diem Salary: $17-20 per hour (depending on experience and case).
• Extra pay on weekends.
• Full-time, part-time, per-diem shifts available.
