FT Quality Improvement Auditor - Remote or On Site at Mental Health Resources, Clovis, NM.
Job DescriptionThe QI Auditor will be responsible for ensuring oversight and compliance with documentation, billing, and all clinical policies and procedures for the agency's programs. This will involve conducting ongoing clinical audits.
RequirementsFull-time, 40-hour week, Exempt position
Starting Salary: $55,000+ depending on experience and licensure
Essential Job Functions- Provide clinical supervision, training, and direction to staff as needed.
- Train new staff on documentation expectations.
- Maintain clinical file audit and tracking systems, including audits of treatment plans, safety plans, assessments, and reviews.
- Assist the QI Director with program oversight and coordination.
- Develop reports and maintain auditing tools monthly.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and program directors.
- Respond promptly to external audits from insurance companies.
- Create case management and documentation tracking tools for staff.
- Distribute and analyze client satisfaction and stakeholder surveys annually.
- Assist in maintaining CARF accreditation standards.
- Track CIRs to MCOs and train staff on filing procedures.
- Help develop and review program handbooks and training logs.
- Maintain positive inter-staff relationships and uphold the agency's mission.
- Ensure consistent attendance and HIPAA compliance.
Knowledge of Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Suite, web-based programs; skills in multitasking, problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail.
Education and ExperienceMaster’s degree in Counseling or related field; LPCC or LCSW preferred. At least five years of clinical experience, with QI experience preferred.
