Health Care Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join a dedicated substance use treatment team at a nonprofit community mental health clinic in Hobbs, New Mexico. This full-time, on-site position provides direct substance abuse counseling, treatment planning, and care coordination for individuals struggling with alcohol and drug dependency.

• Conduct client assessments and gather substance use histories
• Design and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Provide group and individual counseling for clients with SUD
• Coordinate care with internal providers and external partners
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation
• Participate in care team meetings and progress reviews

• Associate’s degree with active LSAA, or Bachelor's degree with LADAC
• Experience in community-based or outpatient SUD treatment preferred
• Must work on-site (remote work not available for this role)
• Must pass CYFD and criminal background checks
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required

• $20–$32/hour depending on credential level and experience
