Overview
We are looking for passionate mental health therapists to provide therapy services to adults for our growing practice. We are currently recruiting clinicians in Washington, DC.
Position Type: 1099 Contract (Remote)
Minimum Commitment: 5 sessions per week
Pay: Up to $75/hour (based on licensure)

About Beyond the SeshBeyond the Sesh is a private practice providing therapy, immigration evaluations, clinical supervision, and consultation for fellow clinicians. We specialize in supporting women of color through life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity work with cultural humility and trauma-informed care. Licensed in DC and Virginia, Beyond the Sesh offers a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychotherapy services to adults and/or couples via secure telehealth.
- Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timelines.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs (e.g., CBT, DBT, solution-focused, trauma informed practices).
- Deliver culturally sensitive and individualized services
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (Required)
- Active Clinical License (e.g., LCSW, LICSW, LCPC, LGSW, etc.) in Washington DC (required).
- Minimum of 2 year post-licensure experience, including at least 1 year providing psychotherapy.
- Independent malpractice insurance policy
- Flexible, remote work environment.
- Leave the admin and billing to us!
- Supervision provided for graduate level clinicians
- Be part of a culturally affirming, growth-oriented practice.
