Our work environment includes:

We're looking for a therapist with experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of emotional, mental health, and behavioral concerns. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and able to work under minimal oversight while maintaining the highest ethical and clinical standards. We are looking for someone who is passionate about social justice and has a strong desire to help clients feel better, cultivate change, and live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities- Appropriately assess and diagnose mental health concerns
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients (individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy may be offered)
- Complete clinical documentation of services provided in a timely manner
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards and comply with all relevant ethical codes as well as state and federal laws
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Master's degree or higher in a behavioral health field (Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology)
- Licensed in the State of West Virginia (LPC, LICSW, LCSW, or LGSW); independent licensure (LPC, LICSW) strongly preferred. Please note that provisionally licensed counselors are not permitted to work as independent contractors in West Virginia.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience (will consider Master's-level internship as part of this experience)
- Ability to provide both in-person (in St. Albans) and telehealth sessions based on client need/preference
- Willingness to work with a limited number of sliding fee scale clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have or be willing to obtain full malpractice/liability insurance
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage routine tasks independently
- Ability/willingness to work with military service members, veterans, first responders, and their families
- Ability/willingness to work with couples and/or families
- Ability/willingness to provide group therapy services
- EMDR-trained (EMDRIA approved)
- Have or eligible for addiction certification (ADC, AADC, etc.)
- Have or eligible for clinical supervision credentials (ALPS, AADC-S, etc.)
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Training and experience providing telehealth services
Job type:
Contract
Compensation: $79.00-$120.00 per clinical hour. This is the clinician's share per clinical hour based on the range of our insurance contract rates.
