EHS Pediatric Therapy is expanding our exceptional team of therapy professionals. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team and help us reveal the super in every child!

EHS Pediatric Therapy has been a leader in providing integrated pediatric therapy services throughout Southeast Michigan. Our mission is to deliver evidence-based, intensive, multidisciplinary, and collaborative pediatric therapy that empowers children and their families to achieve their fullest potential. Our neighborhood therapy centers offer Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, and Mental Health services in one center.

Through play, acceptance, and joy, we embrace the complexities of each child, striving to create functional outcomes that enhance their quality of life.

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday (or four 10-hour days)
  • Flexible start and end times
  • 2 days at home, 3 days in clinic
  • No nights or weekends
  • Option to have reduced FTE for 30 hours work week
  • 10+ hours of documentation time each week

Your Impact

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Metro

EHS Pediatric Therapy, you will:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or Clinical Fellow eligibility) AND/OR
  • State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Active & engaged work – kneeling, bending, and playing at ground level.
  • Hands-on support – lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required.
  • Quick reflexes – ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement or aggressive actions.
  • Loud or noisy environments – working with active children in dynamic settings.
  • Potential exposure to bodily fluids – assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Compensation
  • Annual salary, based on experience and qualifications
  • Potential to earn additional compensation in productivity bonuses
  • Full-time Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (paid in two installments, with a two-year commitment)
