What to Expect- Assist with the coordination of the application and reapplication process for practitioners seeking membership and clinical privileges
- Support the credentialing process to ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and accrediting agencies
- Maintain all credentialing-related databases in accordance with medical staff policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership to support the medical staff office
- Review and analyze potential issues and concerns related to practitioner credentialing
- Bachelor s Degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of credentialing experience required, preferably in a hospital setting
- Must have a home office set up conducive for remote work
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; advanced experience preferred
- Experience utilizing a credentialing database, preferred
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Understanding of medical staff bylaws and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with accrediting agencies such as The Joint Commission, CMS, and NCQA
