Insurance Coordinator
Pay: 27 – 30 / Hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (520 hours)
Location: Mansfield, TX (On-site)

About the RoleAddison Group is seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to support our client’s specialty surgical practice. This position plays a key role in verifying benefits, preparing insurance information for procedures, and ensuring claims are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits through major payer portals.
- Provide correct CPT and ICD‑10 coding information for scheduling and billing needs.
- Coordinate and schedule non-cosmetic surgical cases.
- Submit insurance claims through billing platforms and ensure successful transmission.
- Maintain accurate data in the practice management system, including insurance, billing, and scheduling updates.
- Ensure all insurance-related documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- 5+ years of experience in medical insurance verification and billing.
- Experience supporting physicians on emergency or urgent surgical cases.
- Background in orthopedic or surgical specialties strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of CPT and ICD‑10 coding.
- Experience with Availity and major insurance plans (UMR, UHC preferred).
- Familiarity with Tri Zetto or similar claim submission gateways.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fast learner with strong initiative.
- Polished and professional communication style.
- Works well independently.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the office for reliability.
- Monday–Thursday
- 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1‑hour lunch at noon)
- On-site only; remote work not available.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Training includes shadowing current staff to learn systems and workflows.
This is a great opportunity to work in a specialized clinical environment with a low-volume, high-quality caseload. The position is long-term contract-to-hire with a stable schedule and a supportive team.
