We work with individuals, couples, families, and agencies to deliver guidance and help them navigate challenges effectively.
Role DescriptionThis is a contract Associate Therapist role with LK Psychotherapy & Clinical Services. The role is hybrid, based in Belleville, ON, allowing for both in-person and remote work. Responsibilities include providing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, maintaining accurate client records, conducting assessments, and creating tailored treatment plans. The Associate Therapist will collaborate with clients to address mental health concerns such as trauma, stress, and mood disorders while adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
Populations& Areas of Practice (Preferred)
Experience or interest in one or more of the following is an asset:
- Trauma and complex trauma
- Anxiety, depression, and stress-related concerns
- Relationship and attachment issues
- Parenting, co-parenting, and family transitions
- Identity, culture, and intersectionality
- Caregiver stress and burnout
- Mandatory Registered or qualifying with a recognized Ontario regulatory body (e.g., OCSWSSW, CRPO, CPO)
- Master’s level training in Social Work, Psychotherapy, Counselling Psychology, or related field
- Mandatory Professional liability insurance
- Commitment to trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practice
- Bilingualism (e.g., English/French or other languages) is preferred but not required
- Steady client referrals aligned with your clinical interests
- Flexible scheduling (daytime and/or evening availability)
