An opportunity has arisen to appoint a band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner on a permanent contract within Bolton Talking Therapies. Bolton Talking Therapies is a well-established service that has a history of high performance in the Talking Therapy sector and a reputation for providing various opportunities for staff to develop and maintain their own wellbeing. The service is committed to supporting staff members with their professional development and invest in various CPD opportunities each year.
The service is keen to offer flexible working opportunities within core hours whilst also providing access to the people of Bolton. Therefore, successful candidates to either full or part time positions will be required to work a minimum of one evening per week. We also offer a range of appointment options to the people of Bolton and therefore will be looking to appoint a candidate who is able to offer remote, video and telephone appointments alongside Face-to-Face clinic appointments throughout Bolton.
duties of the job
The post holder will work within Bolton Talking Therapies to provide low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions to people experiencing common mental health problems. The successful applicants will join an experienced team and benefit from close support of the management team and guidance of our Senior PWP's. You will be employed within the Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust and will therefore benefit from being part of a professional organisational structure within a large Foundation Trust and part of a more local integrated network of mental health and wellbeing services.

Job responsibilities
- Provide low-intensity CBT interventions for common mental health problems.
- Work as part of an experienced team with support from management and Senior PWPs.
- Be employed within GMMH and operate within its professional structure.
- Pay Enhancements:
Band entitlements for shift patterns (e.g., Saturdays, evenings, Sundays and public holidays). - 28+ days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years.

Essential
- Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with accreditation (e.g., Post Graduate Certificate in APIMH or equivalent; BABCP/BPS accredited).
Desirable
- Diploma or Masters in APIMH or equivalent.
- Evidence of competent delivery of low intensity CBT for Common Mental Health Disorders with targets and good clinical outcomes.
