The Rutgers Institute for Nicotine and Tobacco Studies (formerly Rutgers Center for Tobacco Studies) is undergoing dynamic and transformative growth. The Institute is one of the nation’s leading tobacco-focused research centers, with faculty having received over $50 million in extramural funding over the past two decades. The Institute’s mission is reducing and ultimately eliminating tobacco-related morbidity and mortality. Five Centers or Programs currently operate at the Institute: the Tobacco Center for Regulatory Science, the Center of Excellence for Rapid Surveillance of Tobacco, the Tobacco Dependence Program, a Tobacco Industry Marketing Program, and a Tobacco Control Law & Policy Resource Center.
Posting Summary
Rutgers Institute for Nicotine and Tobacco Studies (INTS) is seeking a highly motivated part-time Student Assistant to work with Dr. Wackowski. This position will develop audiovisual messages as part of an NIH / FDA-funded K99 project focused on communicating the relative risk of e-cigarettes compared to cigarettes.
Duties include- Develop audiovisual messages that follow a provided script
- Adapt and edit messages based on feedback
- Must be a current Rutgers University student.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- FLSA:
Nonexempt - Grade: 99H
- Salary: $25.00/hourly
- Minimum Salary: 15.92
- Mid Range Salary: 75.00
- Maximum Salary: 150.00
