The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Habilitation Services Project Coordinator. The primary role of this position is to support Qualified Vendors (QV) with technical assistance (both fiscal and programmatic) and licensing and certification requirements to provide Residential, Day Program, and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS).
This position assists QV and Support Coordinators with technical assistance and collaborates with the Department of Child Safety (DCS), DES Office of License, Certification and Registration (OLCR), and other entities to ensure appropriate placements.
DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.
Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor.

Job DutiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Recruiting, certification, training and oversight/monitoring of Independent providers. Maintain a provider directory for the district. Maintain and track training requirement renewal for Independent providers.
- Compose out of home placement requests for central office approval; compose vendor calls for public review, assist with emergency placement needs, request expansions for difficult to serve individuals, including matching potential roommates. Set rate for new placements in OLCR homes.
- Provide technical assistance to QV/independent providers related to strategies/progress reporting requirements. Review billing practices, employee files and policy of QV as directed by the Network Supervisor. Provide technical assistance as needed to QV and IP providers on billing practices.
- Use FOCUS to determine billing; check time sheets for errors; complete data sheet for time sheets showing hours, days, date, service billed and develop databases and methods for tracking billing. Mediate/negotiate in order to problem-solve issues.
- Maintain all aspects of the IP files: resolve payment issues with PPL; send withdrawal forms; complete employer of record forms; close out provider files; process amendments to DDD control system. Provide information pertaining to certified trainers for IP to utilize…
