Responsibilities
  • Develop sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies to address complex client issues
  • Collaborate with account management and client service teams on pre-renewal strategy and analysis
  • Maintain accountability for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations impacting employer-sponsored health and welfare plans
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of benefits consulting experience
  • Valid life and health insurance license
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with database applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Health Care Reform and health insurance products
  • Experience with the quoting process and tools
  • Ability to influence and effectively interact with C-suite members
  • Self-motivated and disciplined work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
