Role Description

This is a per diem Prescriber role with a hybrid work arrangement, based in Fairfield, NJ, with the option for remote work as needed. The Prescriber will be responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations, managing medication plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate client records, and providing insight to support individualized treatment plans. Attendance at periodic in-person team meetings may be required.

Qualifications
  • Licensed and certified as an Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Licensed Psychiatrist with prescriptive authority in the state of New Jersey.
  • Maintenance of current NJ CDS license and Federal DEA/CDS license number. APN’s proof of a collaborative agreement with a collaborating New Jersey
  • 2+ years in providing psychiatric services to adults and children and/or related experience under the supervision of a medical personnel
  • Expertise in performing psychiatric evaluations, managing medication protocols, and providing client-centered mental health care.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations while delivering quality care.
  • Prior experience in behavioral health settings and working with individuals across different age groups.
