Medical Information Specialist; Remote - EST

Overview

Employer Industry: Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals

• Serve as the first point of contact for healthcare providers and patients, addressing unsolicited medical inquiries
• Manage inbound and outbound communications via phone and email, using approved scripts and clinical resources
• Triage inquiries as on- or off-label; escalate those requiring further attention to the appropriate Medical Information Manager
• Document all interactions and inquiries in compliance with established procedures
• Collaborate with Medical Information Managers and other stakeholders on projects and training programs

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing pharmaceutical industry experience, including medical information or clinical experience
• Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and regulations related to Medical Information
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects effectively

• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience in pulmonary hypertension or interstitial lung disease
• 1+ years of medical writing experience
• Understanding of key metrics related to customer service efficiency
• Clinical experience in pulmonary hypertension and/or related fields
