PositionSummary
The Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership for the assigned clinic and assists with overall operational excellence. This role ensures high-quality client care by supervising the clinic assistant and clinicians, monitoring staff productivity, reviewing clinical documentation for timeliness and accuracy, and maintaining compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
Qualifications- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Human Services, or related field (required)
- Current Tennessee licensure in a mental health discipline (required)
- Supervisory and program administration experience in behavioral health
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to balance staff, client, and organizational needs effectively
- Provide individual and group supervision to clinical staff
- Monitor staff caseloads, productivity, and service delivery standards
- Review and approve clinical documentation (including monthly quality audits) to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Assign cases and oversee treatment planning, staffing, and follow-up
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, licensure, grant, and agency policies
- Research and address client complaints/concerns with effective resolutions
- Support professional development and provide coaching/training to staff
- Address performance issues and ensure accountability for outcomes
- Provide clinical backup as needed and assist with complex cases
- Collaborate with administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations
- Monitor and approve clinical staff leave requests
- Effectively manage and provide direct care to a reduced caseload size to be determined by clinic volume
