What to Expect

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate indexing of orders, maintaining a 98% accuracy rate
• Communicate effectively with provider offices, schedulers, and facility staff as needed
• Advise hospital departments of any schedule changes
• Support the scheduling of patients based on business needs
• Exhibit exceptional customer service in all duties performed

• Proficient in typing
• General knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing; bilingual is a plus
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year of previous scheduling experience in the medical field is preferred

• Previous experience in a remote call center environment
• Familiarity with healthcare scheduling software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in a customer service role within the healthcare industry
