Epic Analyst II; Cadence and Prelude

Position: Epic Analyst II (Cadence and Prelude)
• The ideal candidate brings strong functional knowledge of Epic Cadence and Prelude, experience supporting ambulatory and/or hospital workflows, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders. This role will contribute to expanding our digital front door and will be actively involved in project work, Epic Special Updates (SUs), and major releases. The successful candidate will be a proactive self'starter, a collaborative team player, and someone eager to learn, grow, and evolve with our organization.

• JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Participates within a team environment with responsibility for configuration, maintenance and support of assigned information systems. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining knowledge of software functionality. Collaborates with business partners and peers to document business processes and requirements. Mentors junior staff.

• DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Informatics team supports the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including training and at the elbow support, Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS), and integrations. The IS Informatics team maintains responsibility for production support 24/7 for the business line.

• EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) of the following required:

* Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent work experience plus three (3) years experience in Information Technology and/or project management.

* Six (6) years of relevant healthcare experience.
- One (1) Epic certification/accreditation/proficiency required within six (6) months of hire. Obtaining additional proficiencies, accreditations, or certifications related to assigned modules may be required based on department's operational needs and at manager discretion.
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
