SampleManager LIMS Calculation Specialist

Contract Length: 10 months to start with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance and business needs
Pay Rate: $30/hour

Location:

100% Remote

• Create, develop, and validate calculation formulas directly within Thermo Fisher Sample Manager LIMS
• Interpret analytical test methods, SOPs, and procedures and translate requirements into system calculations
• Document calculation logic, protocols, and validation evidence in accordance with GMP requirements
• Execute validation activities, obtain pre-approvals, and support post-validation activities
• Manage and maintain static data, analysis templates, sample templates, and job templates
• Collaborate with SMEs, laboratory personnel, and business units across multiple sites to confirm calculation design and implementation
• Support change control activities related to calculation updates and enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve calculation-related issues within Sample Manager

• Hands-on experience developing and validating calculations in Thermo Fisher Sample Manager LIMS
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field)
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical and/or GMP-regulated environment
• Strong understanding of translating method development or QC testing requirements into LIMS calculations
• ~5 years of Sample Manager LIMS experience (less may be considered for a strong, relevant profile)
• Laboratory experience supporting chromatography-based testing (HPLC/UPLC) (preferred but not required)
• Experience working with Empower (preferred but not required)
