QualificationsMINIMUM
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Moderate knowledge of third-party insurance (HMO, PPO, POS, Indemnity); knowledge of Medicare program, CPT, ICD-9 coding; understanding of Medicare Fraud and Abuse regulations; ability to counsel patients on charges and resolve problems; moderate knowledge of Next Gen Practice Management system; full knowledge of HIPAA regulations; proficiency with Practice Management System, Internet products and Microsoft Office.
