The Director, Product Management Leads all phases of the product life cycle for the Medicare and Medicaid claims payment integrity value stream, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes.
Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. Provides input into claims adjudication strategy. Leads a team of Product Managers and Product Owners aligned to the claims payment integrity value stream.

Required QualificationsMinimum 6 years of experience in product and/or project management in large and/or regulated corporations
Understanding of Agile Development process and best practices
Experience in health insurance, operational processes, and/or health insurance industry standards
Experienced facilitating, consulting, and delivering complex concepts
Able to determine the approach, resources, and goals to meet business objectives needed
Demonstrated experience with cross departmental collaboration
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in the Medicare/Medicaid claims space
Experience with claims-related payment integrity practices
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework
Certified SAFe® Product Owner/ Product Manager

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$168,000 - $231,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
